I use the tamper to compress the coffee evenly in the portafilter.

With that out, let's dive straight into my mushroom supplement for energy and focus test.
Day 1 - The Very Beginning
For Day One, I ordered a bag of Stability Blend, the best organic coffee beans in the UK.
These medium roasted coffee beans have chocolate, hazelnut, and fig flavours. They’re very versatile. In other words, it works with several brewing methods.
That's me in the image above adding Cordyceps Elixir to my cup of coffee made with Stability Blend.
But for this experiment, I brewed it as espresso coffee on my Sage Oracle Touch.
Once my cup was ready, I added the Cordyceps mushroom tincture drops and stirred very well.
How?
The Cordyceps Elixir comes with a pipette dropper, so I opened the bottle, use the pipette dropper to suck the mushroom liquid and add it to my cup of coffee.
Note: I prefer using mushroom tincture drops because they don't have that earthy taste you find in mushroom powders. In addition, they are the most potent form of mushrooms to consume because they are already in a form the body can easily absorb (liquid form).
I added the Lion's Mane mushroom tincture drops to the coffee mug to complete all the steps.
I stirred it thoroughly to mix it evenly into my coffee brew before drinking.
The result?
DAY 1 Result
If I am to be honest and fully transparent about the results, I did not notice any changes on the first day.
While I know every natural remedy takes consistent use to see results, this may be different.
Sadly, this wasn't the case.
Day One Verdict
My mushroom supplements for energy and focus DAY 1 intake did not yield a change in energy and cognition levels.

For Day 2, I used the Darkfire Energy blend, a dark roast coffee bean.

Once it was ready, I added our mushroom supplements for energy and focus again.
After stirring for 30 seconds, I took a sip from the mug.

Day 2 Results Are In (Hold Your Breath)
I had my first coffee at 7 am before heading out to work out.
I take coffee before a workout because it is great for Pre-Workouts.

But surprisingly, I worked out for two hours and 30 minutes and was still going strong.

As for the slight improvements in my focus and cognition, I didn't make too much of it.
So, I naturally attributed it to my exercise since exercise can also help improve your cognition.

But I am yet to be convinced, so on Day 3, I did something to prove it wasn't working.

So the results for DAY 2 weren't all that convincing because:
- I exercised

Knowing this, I decided not to exercise for DAY 3 to see if the results for DAY 2 were anything to go by.
For DAY 3, I did not drink or add Cordyceps and Lion's Mane mushroom Elixir to coffee throughout the day.
Rather, I simply took both supplements orally.
I used the dropper to suck the tincture from the bottle and placed it under my tongue for two minutes before swallowing.
I did this for both our mushroom supplement for energy and our mushroom supplement for the brain, after which I went about my day.

Was it good, or was it bad?

My choice is based on the fact that I wanted it to be as low in caffeine as possible so it would not skew my test.
