Dark chocolate, coffee, and honey are the ingredients of choice in this delicious recipe inspired by Mörk Chocolate.
While we love the sweetness of milk chocolate, there's something about the richness of dark chocolate and coffee when combined that makes us drool. When a touch of honey and nutmeg are added?
You've created something sumptuous and divine. This recipe of honeyed dark makes twelve large servings.
Ingredients:
- 1kg Original Dark
- 5lt milk
- 1lt coffee, let to cool (we used our seasonal espresso, click here to see what we currently have available)
- 150g good quality honey
- Pinch of nutmeg (optional)
Dark Chocolate Coffee Method:
- Add chocolate powder and milk to a pot, and whisk gently while bringing up to 65c. Once fully combined, add in the coffee and honey, then take off the heat and and whisk until combined.
- Chill and serve over ice, and if desired garnish with a sprinkle of nutmeg on the top. This recipe can keep in the fridge for up to 10 days - but we don't think you're going to be able to resist it for that long!
