Is anything better than the combination of coffee and chocolate? We didn’t think so, until we we teamed up with Mörk Chocolate, speciality makers of hot chocolate, to create a recipe for the ultimate sweet treat – the mocha milkshake.
We love Mörk Chocolate because of their dedication to creating high-quality hot chocolate. They use organic cocoa powder, pure cacao liquor from Sur del Lago (one of the oldest cacao growing regions in the world) and organic unrefined coconut blossom sugar to create luxurious hot chocolate. The combination of our speciality coffee and their rich, flavourful chocolate just works!
This recipe makes one serving.
40g Junior Dark (this rich dark cocoa is balanced with toffee-like sweetness of unrefined coconut sugar)
140ml milk (we recommend whole milk, but if you want a plant-based alternative we’d recommend oat milk).
3 scoops vanilla ice cream
Double shot of espresso (we used our seasonal espresso, click here to see what we currently have available)
Pinch of salt
Blend all ingredients in a milkshake maker or blender until smooth
Garnish with a dusting of Junior Dark and serve the mocha milkshake instantly
